CHANDIGARH, NOVEMBER 8: Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has announced Rs 1 lakh ex-gratia each for the kin of those killed in the tragic collision between a truck and a Punjab Roadways bus in Ferozepur.
Expressing shock and anguish over the tragic bus-truck collision at village Kari Kalan on Ferozepur-Fazilka Road in Ferozepur district as a result of dense fog, Captain Amarinder also directed the district authorities to provide free medical treatment for the injured.
The Chief Minister directed the district civil and police administration to extend all possible help to the family members of the victims, according to an official spokesperson.
Captain Amarinder Singh shared his heartfelt sympathies with the members of the bereaved families and wished a speedy recovery for those injured in this mishap.
The drivers of both the vehicles were among those killed in the accident, which reportedly claimed four lives and left several injured.
