Finance Department employees planted fructiferous & floriferous saplings, vow to plant and protect more

Observing the World Nature Conservation Day, the officers and officials of the Punjab Finance Department in association with Chandigarh Administration planted fructiferous and floriferous saplings.

Divulging this, the official spokesperson said that during the ongoing Van Mahautsav-2021 and on the occasion of World Nature Conservation Day, a large number of saplings were planted in and around the Vitt Te Yojana Bhawan Punjab, Sector 33.

On this occasion, the need of planting large number of saplings to balance the environmental degradation and protect our mother earth was emphasized. Realizing their responsibility, the employees and officials of the finance department took a pledge to plant more and more saplings and take care of them. Deputy Director (Investigation/Audit) Satinder Singh Chouhan, Section Officers Jasbir Thakur and Karamjit Singh and Auditor Gopal Goyal contributed a lot to make this event a success.
