Fisheries Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar hands over appointment letters to 11 clerks

Punjab Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development Minister S. Laljit Singh Bhullar, on Wednesday, handed over appointment letters to 11 clerks during a brief ceremony here at Punjab Bhawan.

Congratulating the newly-inducted employees, the Cabinet Minister said that Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Mann led government is committed to create maximum employment opportunities so as to enable the youth of the state to earn their livelihood.

S. Laljit Singh Bhullar exhorted the newly appointed employees to work with utmost dedication and honesty. He said that the recruitment process of 3,000 clerks has been recently completed by the state government. Of which, 11 clerks have been inducted in the fisheries department.

The Cabinet Minister said that during the first year of our government, over 29,000 youngsters have been given government jobs so far. Punjab government was committed to provide employment to the youth, asserted the Fisheries Minister.

While congratulating newly-appointed clerks, Principal Secretary Mr. Vikas Pratap encouraged them to work diligently in the department.

Director Fisheries Mr. Jasvir Singh, Director Animal Husbandry Dr. Ram Pal Mittal, Director Dairy Mr. Kuldeep Singh, Assistant Director Fisheries Mrs. Satinder Kaur, Joint Director Animal Husbandry Dr Ranbir Sharma, Planning Officer Mr. Deepak and other officials were also present on this occasion.
