Four days free Gatka coaching Camp from April 14 at Chandigarh

Chandigarh April 5 : Aiming to keep the referees abreast with Gatka rules ahead of Khelo India Youth Games (KIYG), the National Gatka Association of India is organising a free Gatka Referee-cum-Coaching camp from April 14 to April 17, 2022 at Saini Bhawan, Sector- 24, Chandigarh.

Disclosing This here on Tuesday President of National Gatka Association of India (NGAI) S. Harjeet Singh Grewal, State Awardee, said the Union Sports Ministry has announced to hold Khelo India national youth games from June 4 to June 13, 2022 at Panchkula, Haryana. “Prior to this mega event the NGAI in association with International Sikh Martial Art Council (ISMAC) is organising this training camp as a short term refresher course for Gatkebaaz”, he added.

Giving More details Gatka promoter Grewal informed that in addition to selected referees who would conduct Gatka competition during the KIYG, other Gatkabaaz having age more than 20 years and experience of at least five years could take part in this camp.

He informed that the NGAI would hand over T-shirts and certificates free of cost to the campers besides comfortable stay and food. In addition to this smart ID cards would also be issued to the selected referees during the camp.

He asked the eligible aspirants to send all details on email id [email protected] by April 7 considering it as last date. “Afterwards no entry would be entertained at any cost, adding he said any info/help regarding this camp or venue could be obtained from mobile number 79861-04610
