Fujifilm India donates modern digital X-Ray machines to Punjab health dept

Giving impetus to the efforts of Punjab Health Minister Mr. Balbir Singh Sidhu to a robust health infrastructure of the state, the Fujifilm India Gurugram donated four modern Japanese X-Ray machines to the Health and Family Welfare Department of Punjab.

The Health Minister said that Fujifilm India has donated these machines under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, which would prove a great help in further modernizing and strengthening the health infrastructure to provide the best possible health care to the people of Punjab. Notably, these machines carry a total cost of Rs. 1.2 crore, each costing Rs.30 lakh.

Lauding the Fujifilm India for its contribution towards the health infrastructure, Mr. Sidhu said that these machines will be installed in Government Hospitals of Jalandhar, Pathankot, Ludhiana and Medical college, Amritsar, where people of the state can avail the services of these state-of-the-art modern machines at nominal charges. Zonal Sales Manager of the Fujifilm India Vinay Chamoli said that the company will continue to take such initiatives in future also.

Principal Secretary Health Mr. Hussan Lal, MD PHSC Ms. Tanu kashyap, Director (procurement) PHSC Dr. Rajesh Sharma and Biomedical Engineer PHSC Mr. Manoj Modi were also present on the occasion.
