Gau Sewa Commission chairman calls on Vidhan Sabha Speaker

Punjab Gau Sewa Commission Chairman Mr. Sachin Sharma, on Thursday, called on Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker S. Kultar Singh Sandhwan regarding the issues of welfare of bovine in the state.

Divulging further, Mr. Sharma said, issues pertaining to provide electricity, clean water, sheds and medical treatment for the care of the bovine were discussed, besides providing funds to Gaushalas after collecting cow cess in the state. He informed that the need for making Gaushalas self-reliant was also raised, adding that Speaker S. Sandhwan patiently listened to the issues about work being done and to be done for the welfare of the bovine and assured speedy resolution of the issues. The Chairman affirmed that Punjab Government was committed for the welfare and protection of bovine. Mr. Sadhu Ram Khusla was also present on the occasion.
