New Delhi/Chandigarh, November 19

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal paid obeisance at Rakab Ganj Gurdwara Sahib on Friday morning on the occasion of Parkash Utsav of Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji and congratulated all the countrymen including the people of Punjab and Delhi. Arvind Kejriwal said that Guru Nanak Dev ji showed humanity the path of good deeds and it was our duty that we all follow the path shown by Guru Sahib.

He said that on Guru Nanak Dev ji’s Parkash Utsav, good news about the repeal of three agricultural laws by the central government was received. Kejriwal said that the martyrdom of more than 700 farmers who were martyred in the movement will remain immortal. “The coming generations will remember how the farmers of the country put their lives at stake to save the farming and the farmers,” he said. Arvind Kejriwal said that this is a huge success of the farmers. This is the first time in the history of India that due to some agitation, the central government is withdrawing three laws. He saluted the farmers of the country by tweeting.

After paying obeisance at Gurdwara Sahib in Rakab Ganj on the occasion of Parkash Utsav of Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji, Arvind Kejriwal congratulated the people of Punjab and Delhi along with the countrymen and the world. He said that the people of all religions and all castes have faith in Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji and consider him as their Guru. Arvind Kejriwal said that we are making every effort that the government should also be run on the path shown by Guru Sahib.

Congratulating the farmers across the country for their immense success, the AAP National Convener said that the struggle of the farmers has paid off. Responding to media queries regarding the announcement of the withdrawal of three agricultural laws by the central government, Arvind Kejriwal said that had this announcement been made sooner, more than 700 farmers could have been saved from martyrdom. But the success achieved by the farmers today is not a small thing, it is an immense success.
