Sangrur, March 19: A 28-year-old farmer committed suicide at Bhutal Kalan last night. The police have registered a case against three persons for abetment to suicide.
Nirmal Singh hanged himself at his house last night. His brother found him dead in the morning and informed the police.
During investigations, it came to light that Nirmal Singh was being allegedly harassed by his wife and in-laws.“We have registered a case against the wife of deceased, Beant Kaur, mother-in-law Charnjit Kaur from Alloarkh village and his brother-in-law Manjit Singh. We are conducting raids to arrest them,” said Buta Singh Munshi of the Moonak police station.
