Punjab General Secretary of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Harchand Singh Barsat paid homage to the supreme sacrifices of Tenth Guru, Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, Mata Gujri Ji and four Sahibzades on the occasion of Shaheedi Week.
In a statement issued from the party office on Monday, the AAP leader said that tenth Sikh Guru and his entire family sacrificed their lives for the protection of humanity and religion, which set an example for the whole world. By raising his voice against oppression and giving religious freedom more importance than his life, Guru ji gave a message to humanity to fight and injustice and suppression.
