Chandigarh, February 23: Union Food Processing Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal on Thursday asked Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to facilitate the start of Toronto-Amritsar Air Canada flights, besides suggesting that the Canadian Government jointly celebrate Guru Nanak’s 550 Parkash Purb along with the SGPC. She met Trudeau on the sidelines of an India-Canada business session in New Delhi. He promised to look into both suggestions. Earlier, the minister invited Canadian companies to invest in the food processing sector in India, saying that FDI in this sector was on the rise and had immense growth potential. Source Tribune India
