Hockey, volleyball, Table Tennis trials for All India Civil Services Tournament on June 13-14

The dates for Hockey, Volleyball and Table Tennis trials for the All India Civil Services Tournament to be organized by the Central Civil Services Cultural and Sports Board have been announced.

Disclosing this, the Director, Sports Department Rajesh Dhiman said that the Hockey competition of the All India Civil Services Tournament would be held at Bhopal from June 21 to 30, 2022. The trials for selecting Men’s and Women’s teams would be held at Olympian Balbir Singh International Hockey stadium in Sector – 63, Mohali on June 13 at 10 AM.

Similarly, the Table Tennis (Men and Women) events are scheduled from June 24 to 28 in Agra and the trials for selecting Punjab teams would be held at Polo grounds on June 14 at 10 AM. The Volleyball matches would take place from June 24 to 28 at New Delhi and the trials for choosing Punjab teams would be held at polo grounds on June 14 at 10 AM.

Divulging more, Mr. Dhiman said that in the trials the Government employees (Regular) of various departments can take part after taking NOC except the employees of the Defence Services/Para Military/Central Police Forces/Police/RPF/CISF/BSF/ITBP/NCC/those governed by conditionalities.

The players would themselves bear the expenses to be incurred on travelling, boarding and lodging and food in the tournament.
