IAS probationers call on Chief Secretary, get administrative tips

CHANDIGARH, May 12:

Punjab Chief Secretary, Ms Vini Mahajan, on Wednesday, held an introductory meeting with four 2020-batch Indian Administrative Services (IAS) probationary officers of Punjab cadre here.

The probationary officers, including Ojasvi Alankar from Haryana, Harjinder Singh, Chandrajyoti Singh both from Punjab and Nikas Kumar from Rajasthan, were briefed about the ongoing plans and projects of the state government.

The Chief Secretary, while apprising the young officers about the responsibilities of being a civil servant, asked them to understand the problems being faced by people at grassroots level and work devotedly for good governance. She also shared administrative tips with the officers and exhorted them to put in their best efforts in their work.

Hoping to see them all as shining stars, the Chief Secretary wished the new recruits good luck.
