Jalandhar, May 4
Impressed by the pro-people policies of the Mann government, before the Jalandhar by-election, many influential leaders and social workers of the region joined the party on Thursday. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann inducted these leaders into the party and welcomed them. Apart from the Chief Minister, many senior AAP leaders were also present on the occasion.
Among the leaders who joined the party are senior Congress leader and in-charge of SC wing Doaba, Raj Kumar Raju, 7-time Sarpanch, Block Committee President, Zila Parishad Vice President Sodhi Ram (Guraya), Sukhdev Singh, Smt. Toshi, former MLA from Jalandhar Raj Kumar Gupta’s son Pawan Kumar Gupta (former corporator), Vipin Chadha and Dr. Vimal Chadha are prominent.
Welcoming all the leaders to the party, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that the people of Jalandhar are completely satisfied with the performance of the AAP government. Day-by-day people’s increasing faith in Aam Aadmi Party shows that our efforts to make Punjab ‘Rangla’ are going in the right direction.
