Incidents near Sri Darbar Sahib matter of concern, people should maintain peace: Kultar Singh Sandhwan

Date:

Chandigarh, May 11:

Expressing deep concern over the recent incidents near Sri Darbar Sahib Amritsar, Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker S. Kultar Singh Sandhwan today urged the people of Punjab to maintain peace.

In a press communique issued here, the Speaker said that anti Punjab forces are not tolerating the peace, communal harmony and progress of the state, thus conspiring to scare the pilgrims coming from all over the world to Sri Darbar Sahib. The Punjab government will never allow these kinds of nefarious activities of anti state elements, he added.

The Speaker asked the police to quickly arrest the perpetrators along with the masterminds of these incidents and further strengthen the security arrangements in the state.
