Brampton, March 1: Peel police arrested and charged Suresh Ratnani, a 54-year-old man of Indian descent, in Brampton for harassing a 15-year-old girl.
Police reported that on February 14, a 15-year-old girl was walking to her school bus stop near Chinguacousy and Mayfield Road when a man in a vehicle approached her.
It is alleged that the man asked the girl if she wanted to get into his SUV for a ride, police said.
The vehicle in question was a 2013 navy blue Land Rover Freelander SUV.
Suresh Ratnani has been arrested and charged with criminal harassment and failing to comply with an undertaking.
Investigators believe there may be additional victims and are encouraging them to contact investigators at 905-453-2121, extension 2233.
