Industrial progress an antidote to unemployment problem: Preneet Kaur

Date:

Chandigarh, January 4: “The problem posed by unemployment can be tackled only through industrial progress”. These views were expressed here today at Hotel The Lalit by the ex Union Minister and Lok Sabha MP from Patiala Mrs. Preneet Kaur during a conference organized by the Industries and Commerce Department, Punjab and District Sangrur Industrial Chamber.

The MP said Punjab is predominantly an agrarian State and the Punjabis are known for their hardworking attitude but now with the various pro industry initiatives being undertaken by the State Government, the state would also run full throttle towards an industrial revolution. This would lead to youth getting jobs which would send the State several notches up on the development index.
