Toronto, February 5: The GTA Kabaddi Club, a long-running sports club in the Greater Toronto Area, has announced that the International Kabaddi Cup will be held on February 27 at Kartarpur in Punjab.
In this cup, 8 teams of MLK Kabaddi Federation and 4 teams of U-21 will participate.
Chairman Billa Randhawa said that while we have big prizes to motivate the teams there will be motorcycle prizes for West Raider and West Jaffe.
International Kabaddi players will entertain the spectators as well as famous Punjabi singer Kanwar Grewal’s evening program.
GTA Kabaddi Club Toronto President Major Natji said that the first place team will be awarded Rs 2.5 lakh and the second place team will be awarded Rs 2 lakh.
The director of this kabaddi team Satnam Sarai has left Canada for Punjab. Apart from these Treasurer Daljit Singh Sahota, Secretary Karamjit Singh Sundar and Member Bant Nijhar Khajurla are going to leave for Punjab very soon.
All the members of GTA Kabaddi Club Toronto are currently enthusiastic about contributing more and more to this Kabaddi Cup which is going to be held at Kartarpur and to make a different mark for the promotion of sports in Punjab.
Media Advisors of GTA Kabaddi Club Amarjit Rai and Jagdish Grewal also specially appealed to the NRIs who are presently in Punjab to participate in this tournament.
