One Jaish terrorist among two killed in Baramulla encounter

Srinagar, June 22: At least two terrorists were killed when an encounter broke out with security forces on Saturday morning in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir. The exchange of fire took place in Bujthalan area of Boniyar in the district.

One of the terrorists has been identified as Luqmaan, a Pakistan national affiliated with terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM). According to the police sources he was active in north Kashmir since the past one year.

Earlier, a joint operation was launched by the Indian Army and the state police in the area. The operation has ended. A huge cache of arms and ammunition have been recovered.
