Jal Shakti department invites applications from schools for the fourth national water award

Jal Shakti Department of Government of India has invited applications from schools for the fourth National Water Award.

Disclosing this here today, a spokesperson of Punjab School education department said that the fourth National Water Award is being organised by Jal Shakti department of Union government to promote conservation of water resources in the country.

He said that the Jal Shakti Department of the Central Government has started these awards for various categories to inspire people to conserve water.

The spokesperson said that the best schools will also be awarded under this campaign by the Jal Shakti Department.

In this competition, first position holder school will be given Rs 2 lakh, the second place will be given Rs 1.50 lakh and the third will be given Rs 1 lakh reward.

The spokesperson said that the applications can be sent to www.awards.gov.in till 15 September 2022 to win this award.
