Chandigarh ,November 28 , 2017 : Punjab Opposition leader Sukhpal Khaira along with LIP MLA Simarjit Bains today met Chief Justice Punjab and Haryana High Court Mr. Justice Shiavax Jal Vazifdar. Khaira submitted a formal written representation to the CJ, seeking probe into the controversial audio clip released by Bains brothers on November 27 , 2017 .
Khaira told babushahi.com that he and Bains explained the whole issue to the Honorable CJ requesting to look into the whole matter so that he may get justice.
He said that CJ assured them to look into the matter thoroughly and do the needful.The meeting , in which two senior judges of the HC were also present , lasted about half an hour.
It may be recalled that Bains brothers had released recording of an audio conversation between a former law officer of Punjab Government and a former PCs officer in which they were talking of bid to bribe a judge in Khaira case.
Bains brothers, Khaira and other AAP MLAs are demanding CBI probe into the whole affair to bring the truth.
