‘Khand Da Khidaona’: Ranjit Bawa’s latest brings reality on reel

Date:

The much-awaited song ‘Khand Da Khidaona’, from Ranjit Bawa’s ‘Ik Tara Wala’ album is finally out. Written and composed by Beat Minister, the song is a hard-hitting emotional saga.

Featuring Jassi Kaur, the song is a mix of facts and fiction. It’s a tale of a young man from Punjab, who goes overseas to fulfill his family’s dreams. Initially, things go as planned and even from a distance he became the reason for his family’s smile. However, things take an ugly turn when his shop is robbed and the news of him being murdered in the robbery is screened in his hometown.

It encapsulates the pain of those who fall prey to the crime against Sikh men on the foreign land. The song portrays how dreams are shattered and justice is delayed.

Though touching a serious concern, the song is very beautifully written and picturized. The climax of the song is so sentimental that it will surely leave you in tears.
