One of the most memorable characters that Bollywood has given us in recent times is that of Bitti Mishra from 2017’s sleeper-hit, Bareilly Ki Barfi, a part which was beautifully played by its leading lady, Kriti Sanon.

Her character and its name, Bitti has found itself a place in all our minds and hearts for a long time, the testimony of which is Miss Sanon’s recent encounter with her fans in Chandigarh.

Turns out, Kriti, who is currently shooting for her upcoming film in Chandigarh was overwhelmed as she went about the city when the locals referred to the actress as Bitti.

The actress, who is a Punjabi herself, has visited Chandigarh before, but, it is for the first time that she is shooting in the city, and Kriti Sanon is definitely making the most of her time.

Kriti has been gorging on the rich local food that she otherwise cannot relish. The actress has been giving insights about her stay in the city through her social media. Quite recently, Kriti posted pictures of her enjoying the local delicacies like Parathas and Lassi of Punjab.

The actress also explored the local markets and picked up things for her family and friends. However, the experience was all the more special for Kriti Sanon as the local people recollected her on-screen character Bitti while she was having the time of her life on her exploration.

While the actress was overwhelmed with the love showered to her by the people of Chandigarh, Kriti Sanon will forever cherish the memories of the city for its yummy food, rich hospitality and warm people.

The Bareilly Ki Barfi actress will be next seen in Arjun Patiala.
