Kultar Singh Sandhwan assures LoP fair distribution of time durning session

Fair and genuine opportunities will be provided impartially to the Treasury as well as Opposition benches to flag issues of utmost public importance, assured Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker S. Kultar Singh Sandhwan during a meeting with Leader of Opposition (LoP) and Congress MLA S. Partap Singh Bajwa, on Friday, in his chamber at Punjab Vidhan Sabha, Chandigarh.

During this courtesy call meeting, the Speaker stated that opposition has a very vital role to play in democracy. He expressed hope that the LoP and his party would provide constructive support to hold healthy debate on public issues and conduct the House successfully in larger public interest.

Meanwhile, the LoP assured the Speaker that he will provide fulsome support to conduct the house smoothly. Deputy CLP Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal and Secretary Punjab Vidhan Sabha Mr. Surinder Pal Singh were also present in the meeting.
