Laljit Singh Bhullar hands over appointment letters to Fisheries Officers

Punjab Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Dairy Development Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar, on Tuesday, handed over appointment letters to two Fisheries Officers and one Fisherman in the fisheries department.

During a brief function at Punjab Bhawan here, the Cabinet Minister, while congratulating the newly inducted employees, exhorted them to work diligently and honestly. He said, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann led government was committed to provide maximum employment opportunities for the youth of the state.

The cabinet minister informed, the state government has provided government jobs to 18,543 youths during its seven-month tenure and 8,736 contractual teachers have been regularised in the education department. He said that the government has also initiated the process of regularizing 28,000 more contractual employees.
