Last date for submitting applications for president and members district consumer commissions extended to Aug 16

The last date for submission of applications (Online and Hard Copy) for three posts of Presidents in the District Consumer Commissions (Fazilka, Pathankot and Malerkotla) in Punjab besides seven posts of Members in the Districts of Kapurthala, Fazilka, Pathankot and Malerkotla, has been extended up to August 16, 2022 till 5 PM.

Disclosing this, a spokesperson of the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department said that the above said step would strengthen the functioning of the commission which was formed to promote and protect the rights of consumers as per the Consumer Protection Act 1986.
