Loan mela and awareness camp at MGSIPA sector-26 today courtesy NSKFDC

National Safai Karamcharis & Finance Development Corporation (NSKFDC) and other apex Corporations are organising a Loan Mela and Awareness Programme at Mahatma Gandhi State Institute of Public Administration, Sector-26, Chandigarh on March 26, 2022.

An official spokesperson said that the Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Dr. Virender Kumar would grace the occasion as the Chief Guest.

The Managing Director, National Safai Karamcharis & Finance Development Corporation P.K.Singh inspected the venue today. The Senior Officers from Apex Corporations namely NSKFDC, NHFDC, NSFDC, NBCFDC and ALIMCO were also present . Senior Officers of State Channelizing Agencies namely Punjab Scheduled Castes Land Development & Finance Corporation, Punjab (BACKFINCO), Haryana SC Corporation, Haryana BC Corporations , Chandigarh UT SC/BC/Minority Finance Development Corporation were also present.

The MD, NSKFDC reviewed the arrangements for the programme and informed that this is an excellent opportunity to reach out the beneficiaries of SCs, BCs, PWDs and Safai Karamcharis in states of Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh (UT).

During the meeting, MD NSKFDC informed that during the programme a health Camp would also be organised for the target groups of OBCs, SCs, Handicapped persons, Safai Karamcharis, Manual Scavengers and waste pickers.

The eligible beneficiaries from the target groups would be provided Certificates of Loan sanction / disbursement for various sustainable self employment projects.

The assessment for assistive devices to the Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) and will be done on the spot by ALIMCO.
