Majithia drug case: Like Captain, Channi and Randhawa are playing a friendly match with Badals

Date:

Chandigarh, 5 January

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab Senior Leader and Youth Wing State President Meet Hayer alleged that in the 75:25 game of drug mafia, like then Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh, Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi and Home Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa are also playing a friendly match with the Badal family to delude the people of Punjab.

In a statement issued here on Wednesday, Mr. Hayer said that the Channi government was deliberately not arresting Bikram Singh Majithia, when even today the Hon’ble High Court had not granted relief to Majithia. Mr. Hayer also said that the Advocate General (AG) office of Punjab was loosely pursuing this high profile case, if a strong FIR had been filed then Majithia’s petition of anticipatory bail has already been cancelled.

Mr. Hayer said that if the Channi government had committed even a little to eradicate the drug menace from Punjab, Bikram Singh Majithia would have been arrested on the same day as the FIR was registered against him. But since the FIR was just a political stunt, Majithia is not being arrested.
