Manpreet Singh Talwandi, president of youth wing of Akali Dal (United), joins AAP

Ahead the municipal corporation elections, the Aam Aadmi Party is continue to strengthen the organizational base of the party across the state.

On Thursday, AAP Punjab general secretary Harchand Singh Barsat and Harbhupinder Singh Dhrod, distt. President Ludhiana Rural, inducted former Ludhiana zila parishad member Manpreet Singh Talwandi into the party fold.

Manpreet Singh, who was the incumbent national president of the youth wing of the Shiromani Akali Dal (United), hails from Talwandi Rai in Raikot constituency of Ludhiana and was also a zila parishad member from Ludhiana from 2013-18.
Being associated with politics since college, Manpreet Singh has a strong base among the youth of his area and Ludhiana urban and the Aam Aadmi Party will get a boost from this in the Ludhiana Municipal Corporation elections.

On this occasion, Harchand Singh Barsat formally welcomed him into the fold and said that the youth continue to join the Aam Aadmi Party as the Mann government is taking pro-people decisions every day to make the Punjab a developing state. He exuded confidence that the party would do well in the upcoming MC polls and win again like the assembly polls.
