Aam Aadmi Party got a major boost on Friday, when AAP’s Punjab President and Member of Parliament Bhagwant inducted and welcomed many prominent social workers and former Army Officer to AAP at the Chandigarh party headquarters. The convoy of Aam Aadmi Party is increasing day by day in Punjab. Many popular faces; social activists, former officers and leaders from different districts of the state are constantly joining the party.
On Friday, social worker from Patiala, Saurabh Jain, former army officer B Sethi, well-known leader of Mohali Amit Jain and Ludhiana’s eminent social worker and lawyer Gaurav Arora joined the party in the presence of Bhagwant Mann at AAP headquarters in the state.
Saurabh Jain, who has been doing social welfare works in rural areas of Patiala for the past several years and has been organizing free medical camps in the area under his trust ‘Vardhman Mahavir Welfare Society’, and through Vardhman Mahavir Janhit Rasoi, they provide people healthy and warm food for just Rs. 10, joined AAP with his companions Bablu Gupta, Pawan Kumar Pammi, Neeraj Kumar, Dinesh Ram, Harvinder Kala and Amarinder Singh Rajan.
At the same time, former army officer B Sethi, who served the country for many years and retired as Major in the Indian Army, was also formally inducted to AAP. Amit Jain is a popular Social Activist from Mohali District. Along with Jain, his supporters Nanak Singh, Naveen Jain, Vikas Jain, Jaswinder Harka, Kanwaljit Singh, Kanti Grover, Ashwini Nagpal, Mohit Singh, Sachin Singla, Dharmendra ji and Bhavya Jain also joined the Aam Aadmi Party.
Bhagwant Mann welcomed all the new members to the party and while addressing the media said that the leaders of SAD-BJP and Congress together looted Punjab. The people of Punjab are fed up and Punjabis want change now. In 2022, the people of Punjab will eliminate these corrupt parties to form an honest government, of Aam Aadmi Party, in the state.
