Modi Govt providing shelter to accused of Lakhimpur Kheri incident: Singla

Date:

Chandigarh/Sangrur, November 9:

Punjab Public Works and Administrative Reforms Minister Mr. Vijay Inder Singla said that Modi government is playing a major role in shielding the culprits responsible for the atrocities against the farmers which proves that the BJP government is openly working against the farmers.

Mr. Singla said that the forensic science report in the Lakhimpur Kheri case has confirmed that evidence of firing from three weapons was found during the investigation. He said that farmers were shot dead by the licensed gun of the main accused minister’s son Ashish Mishra and another accused Ankit Das.

Vijay Inder Singla said that it would be the biggest proof from the forensic report that the killers of farmers are BJP leaders. He sternly warned the BJP government that Ashish Mishra’s father Ajay Mishra should be immediately removed from the Home Ministry.

Mr. Singla said that the farmers of the country have been struggling from a long time span on the roads of the capital to get the black farm laws repealed. A large number of farmers have been martyred but the Modi government has shown no concern for the Anndata. He said that instead of paying heed to the demands of the farmers, the government was taking unjustified strict action against them.

Mr. Singla said that he always stood by the farmers and if the farmers will not be getting justice then he will reach Lakhimpur Kheri and raise his voice in favor of the farmers.
