More Aam Aadmi Clinics will dedicate to people soon: Chetan Singh Jauramajra

“The Punjab Government will soon dedicate more Aam Aadmi Clinics across the state in consonance with commitment of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to ensure state-of-the-art health care facilities at the doorsteps of people across the state.”

Disclosing this at Annual Reorientation Training Session for Medical Officer (Dental), Punjab Civil Medical Services Dental College at Punjab Kisan Vikas Bhawan, SAS Nagar, the Health Minister Chetan Singh Jauramajra said that more such clinics are in the offing and and they will dedicate to the people soon.

Speaking about the training program, he said that such orientation programs should be organized for doctors frequently. Congratulating the dental cadre, the Health Minister informed that 34th dental fortnight will celebrate in November, all the medical (dental) officers have been asked to work diligently and make the people of the state aware about dental diseases.

In this training, five speakers invited from Punjab and outside to share their experiences on various topics of dentistry. During this training program, Dr. Purva Arora, Dr. Gaurav Ahuja, Dr. Radhika Lekhi, Dr. Ankur Sharma and Dr. Preet Sharma made glimpses on the new technologies and discoveries in the dental field in detail.

Speaking on this occasion, Director Health Services Dr. Ranjit Singh said that dental implant centers will be opened soon in five districts of Punjab, where facility of dental implants will be made available for general public at reasonable prices.

The Health Minister while encouraging all the medical (dental) officers said that from next year the medical (dental) officer who will perform the most surgeries in Punjab will be honored with a cash prize of 51 thousand rupees during the annual reorientation training session.

During this training program MD (PHSC) Mrs. Neelima Singh, Director Health Services Punjab Dr. Ranjit Singh, Director Family Welfare Punjab Dr. Ravinderpal Kaur, Deputy Director Dental Dr. Surinder Mall and Deputy Director Dr. Jagdish Singh, Medical Officer Dental and District Dental Health Officer from all the districts of Punjab were present.
