MRSPTU, US varsity sign MoU for study programmes

In line with its international exchange programme to enable the students of best practices in the technical education sector on both sides, Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU) has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Wayne State University (USA).

Disclosing this, an official spokesperson said that this is a pathway program, under which a student after studying in the MRSPTU for three years will complete fourth and fifth year of study at Wayne State University (WSU) under 3 plus 2 and 3 plus 1 programmes.

Pointing out further, the spokesperson said that after completion of the 4 year course, the MRSPTU student will get B.Tech degree from WSU as well as from MRSPTU Bathinda. Besides, under a 5 year programme, both B.Tech. and Master’s degrees will be awarded by WSU.
