New terror outfit Lashkar-e-Khalsa plans to launch attack in India: Intel report to govt

The government has received an intelligence input about a new terror outfit named ‘Lashkar-e-Khalsa’, which plans to launch attacks in the National capital and also in Jammu & Kashmir (J&K) before or during Independence Day celebrations, sources said.

The sources in the security establishment said, the Intelligence Bureau (IB) report suggests that Lashkar-e-Khalsa has been specially formed by the Pakistan-based terror outfits with the active support of the ISI to carry out terror attacks in India.

In the report the IB has also warned that Lashkar-e-Khalsa can attack nationals of Afghanistan and Sudan, who are currently residing in India, the sources said.
