Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Friday lashed out at Congress MLA Sukhpal Singh Khaira and advised him to immediately apologize for spreading fake news only to stay in the news
Issuing a statement here, AAP’s Punjab Chief Spokesperson Malvinder Singh Kang said that Khaira deliberately termed the front page coverage by New York Times on Delhi Model a fake news despite the fact that the newspaper itself clarified today that it was a result of independent and impartial’ on-the-ground reporting.
Terming Khaira as a misguided missile, Kang dared Khaira to prove his allegations otherwise tender an unconditional apology for trying to malign image of AAP.
He said that the New York Times has refuted oppositions claims that the news was an advertisement and clarified that the article on Delhi education model was authentic. But Khaira still ran his political vendetta and issued fake news against the AAP party, Kang added.
