Today, the arguments in the matter concluded and the court has reserved its order for tomorrow.

Earlier, the public prosecutor claimed that the accused should be transferred to Tihar Jail as their lives are under threat in jails in Punjab.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has also issued directions for the transfer of these accused from jails in Punjab to Tihar Jail.

Amit Agnihotri, defence counsel of Guggni and Kala, claimed that his clients have never complained of any threat in the jail here.

The defence counsel also claimed that the accused could not be transferred to any jail out of the state under the law.

A series of targeted killings have taken place in the state in the past two years.
