So what the city has been craving for this summer finally to beat the heat they have beer for their rescue. Finally, the night life of the city is back and ready to get high!
Sector 26 of is the hub of bar business in the city and anyone could tell it with the happiness on locals and bar owners’ faces. In what seems to be a big relief for all the pubs that had been shut down along Madhya Marg and Dakshin Marg in Chandigarh, the Supreme Court on Tuesday said there was nothing wrong in denotifying state/local highways as district roads within the city. But with freedom comes responsibility. Though the party is on, one needs take care of small things.
Liquor on highways, doesn’t mean drink and drive
As per the honorable court, roads in the city can be de-notified to district roads from national highways. So now that verdict is in your favour, hold on to your excitement. It doesn’t mean you drink and drive on city roads. Be a responsible Chandigarhian or a visitor for that matter.
