‘NRI Punjabiyan Nal Milni’ program will held at Ludhiana on December 23: Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal

The Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is committed to solve each and every grievance of NRIs with organising ‘NRI Punjabiyan Nal Milni’ program across the state so that the matters related to them can be resolved quickly.

Divulging this, Punjab’s NRI Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal said that ‘NRI Punjabiyan Nal Milni’ program is being organized tomorrow on December 23 at Ludhiana, where the cases related to districts such as Ludhiana, Sangrur, Barnala and Malerkotla will be heard and resolved on the spot. He informed that cases related to Moga, Ferozepur, Faridkot, Sri Muktsar Sahib, Fazilka, Bathinda and Mansa will be considered on December 26 at Moga, while matters pertaining to Amritsar, Gurdaspur, Pathankot and Tarn Taran districts will be covered during the meeting on December 30 at Amritsar, for which NRIs can register themselves online or raise their matter on the spot.

Mr. Dhaliwal said that the Punjab government is preparing a special policy to solve all the problems related to the social, economic and cultural affairs of NRIs in timely manner. He said that the meetings will become regular feature and the Punjab government will organise these events twice every year and December & April months specifically dedicated for this purpose.

Mr. Dhaliwal further informed that the government has decided to go on the doorsteps of NRIs so that they do not face any difficulties in public offices to settle down their issues. He said that 160 cases were settle down on December 16 and 74 issues were resolved on December 19 during events held at Jalandhar and SAS Nagar respectively.
