Opening of Sri Kartarpur Sahib Corridor, a welcome decision: Sandhwan

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab Kisan Wing president and MLA Kultar Singh Sandhwan has welcomed the decision of the Modi-led central government to open the Sri Kartarpur Sahib Corridor. In a statement issued from the party headquarters here on Tuesday, Kultar Singh Sandhwa said that we pray that Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji blesses India and we have good relations with neighboring countries, so that the country can progress. Sandhwan said that Sri Kartarpur Sahib Dham has been included in the pilgrimage by the Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal government, whose entire cost is borne by the Delhi government.

Sandhwan said that along with this, we pray that the Modi government at the Centre should be given the wisdom to take the decision to repeal the three black agricultural laws, so that the farmers-labourers and traders of the country and all the other people contribute for prosperity of the country with happiness and peace. On the other hand, Punjab affairs co-in-charge and MLA Raghav Chadha also welcomed the decision of opening the Sri Kartarpur Sahib Corridor from the bottom of his heart.

He said that now lakhs and crores of devotees will be able to reach the darbar of Guru Nanak Dev ji from Sri Kartarpur Sahib Corridor by bowing their heads and there are few days left for the Gurupurab to come. On the decision taken by the Modi government to open the Kartarpur Corridor at the time of elections, Raghav Chadha said that the BJP should refrain from doing politics on religious issues. Religious belief should not be viewed through a political lens, he added.
