The Chief Minister also announced that all the major city roads and streets would be refurbished, and other civic infrastructure inside all the municipal wards would be upgraded. Captain Amarinder also announced that a major project for cleaning and remodelling of Badi and Choti Nadi would be taken up shortly.

The construction work of the New Bus Stand would be started in May after completion of the tendering process and other requisite formalities, said the Chief Minister, while also announcing that shifting of dairies from the city to Ablowal would be started soon.

In order to bring more efficiency in the functioning of the Rajendra Hospital, the Chief Minister said work to improve its infrastructure was underway as this iconic hospital was completed neglected by the previous government. He hoped significant Improvement would be visible once these works are completed.

The Chief Minister appealed to the people of Patiala to extend wholehearted support and cooperation to the Municipal Corporation and District Administration to keep the city neat and clean.
