Painting competitions for students from May 26

The Punjab School Education Department has decided to conduct painting competitions to inculcate creative interests in the students of government schools.

Disclosing this, a spokesperson of the education department said that these competitions will be conducted at school level from 26th May to 29th May 2021 under the ‘Parho Punjab, Paraho Punjab’ project. The students of VI to X classes will be able to take part in these competitions. Different topics are allotted for painting for each class. These competitions are being held online due to closure of schools. The first three students will be awarded with certificates.

According to the spokesperson, the department has taken this decision  to motivate the students towards painting and to sharpen their hidden talent as well as to provide them a positive environment during the phase of Covid pandemic.
