Pakistani woman intruder succumbs to injuries

Amritsar, February 23: A Pakistani woman intruder who was shot by BSF troopers few days ago, died in an Amritsar hospital.

According to reports, the 32-year-old woman identified as Gulshan died on Friday, two days after she was shot at by BSF in the Dera Baba Nanak sector of Punjab’s Gurdaspur when she was trying to enter the Indian territory.

The body of the woman is being kept at the morgue and a post mortem will be done on Saturday, reports said.

She was warned by BSF troopers while she was trying to intrude into the Indian territory but she kept walking. It was then when BSF jawans had to fire at her.
