Parmeet Sethi, Angad Hasija, and Karan Mehra’s Punjabi connection

Zee Punjabi has always been the trendsetter since its inception, from being the first Punjabi GEC channel to changing the en-route of Punjabi artists leaving Punjab by creating best work opportunities regionally. Artists, leaving their regions to explore Mumbai is not new, however, Zee Punjabi has started a new trend of getting the biggest artists to TV screens including Angad Hasija, Karan Mehra and Parmeet Sethi.

Angad Hasija who has appeared in many Hindi TV serials like Bidaai, Savitri, Phulwa has recently entered Zee Punjabi’s romantic show ‘Tera Rang Chadea’ as JD. Talking about this change Angad Said, “Being a Punjabi, I always wanted to work in Punjab. I feel so happy that Zee Punjabi can bring that change, and I am thrilled with the response we are getting.”

Very few people might know that ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ Naitik is a Jalandhar Boy, after marking his place in Indian Television industry, Karan is also back to his hometown with Zee Punjabi’s show ‘Maavan Thandiyan Chaavan’. Sharing his thoughts, Karan said, “I believe art is beyond the barriers of geography and language. However, I must say, the range of stories, the production value they are providing within one year is commendable. I feel so happy to be associated with them”.

The new name that added to this list is Parmeet Sethi, who has already done many films and shows is all set to enter Zee Punjabi[‘ upcoming show ‘Akhian Udeekdian’ based on a story of a couple with a huge age gap. Talking about the same, Parmeet Sethi said, “I am very new to the clan, however, the script looks quite promising and I am looking forward to the public response.”
