Pat King charged for calling NDP leader Jagmeet Singh terrorist

Ottawa, February 20: Pat King, a key figure in the ongoing anti-vaccine protest in Canada, has been charged and arrested by Ottawa police.

Four charges have been laid against him by the police. Pat King was arrested during a live video and will now appear in court on Tuesday. In addition to Pat King, 100 more protesters have been arrested including key anti-vaccine activists Tamara Lich and Chris Barber.

Pat King in a live video called NDP leader Jagmeet Singh a terrorist and told him to return to India.

In another video, Pat King accused Sikhs of taking away construction and trucking jobs from the Alberta mainstream community and of not hiring non-Sikhs. Currently, 20 per cent of Canada’s total truck driver are from the South Asian community.
