PM to inaugurate 106th Indian Science Congress today in Punjab

Jalandhar, January 3:  Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the 106th edition of Indian Science Congress at Jalandhar today (January 3), an annual congregation that witnesses deliberations by top scientific minds of the country.

The theme for ISC-2019 is ‘Future India-Science and Technology’ and it will be hosted by the Lovely Professional University (PLU), Jalandhar from January 3-7.

The PM will later address a public meeting in Gurdaspur.

PM Modi will likely take a ride in a driverless solar-powered bus developed by the university students and faculty.

The bus has been built by a group of 300 engineering students from Mechanical, Electrical and IT departments of LPU in 12 months.
