Power minister meets representatives of various unions, assures redressal of demands

The Power Minister Mr. Harbhajan Singh ETO today met the representatives of various unions connected with the department and assured redressal of their legitimate demands.

The Minister further said that the State Government led by the Chief Minister Mr. Bhagwant Mann has adopted sympathetic attitude towards the demands of the various unions and is moving forward with the constructive approach in this direction as part of its commitment to address every issue concerned with the people of Punjab.

The unions which called upon the Minister included Powercom Meter Readers Union (Azad), Apprentice Lineman Union Punjab and Mritak Ashrit Sangharsh Committee.

Among others, CMD Powercom Engineer Baldev Singh Sran, Director (Distribution) Engineer IPS Grewal and Director (Commercial) Gopal Sharma were present too.
