Chandigarh, August 13:
Urban properties situated under the jurisdiction of Amritsar Development Authority (ADA) and Jalandhar Development Authority (JDA) would be available for purchase as these Development Authorities will start the e-auctions this month.
An official spokesperson of the Housing and Urban Development department said that the properties on offer include residential plots, SCOs, shops, booths etc. as well as high value viz. Chunk, School and group housing located in prime areas of Amritsar, Jalandhar, Batala, Gurdaspur, Kapurthala and Phagwara.
Jalandhar Development Authority is offering residential plots, commercial sites including SCO, booth, SCS, double storey shops, SCF, besides a chunk site having reserve price of Rs. 11.73 crore and area 919.74 sq. mtrs. situated on Kapurthala road, Jalandhar, a school site with reserve price of Rs. 2.20 crore and area 3398.84 sq. mtr. situated in Urban Estate, Sultanpur Lodhi, a group housing site with reserve price of Rs. 97.75 crore and area 12017.33 sq. mtr situated in Chotti Baradari, Part-2, Jalandhar. E-auction of the properties offered by JDA will commence on August 15, 2022 at 9.00 AM and conclude on August 26, 2022 at 03.00 PM.
Amritsar Development Authority is also holding auction of residential plots and SCOs situated in Amritsar, Batala and Gurdaspur. The e-auction for these properties would commence on August 22, 2022 at 9.00 AM and will culminate on September 2, 2022 at 03.00 PM.
The spokesperson said that possession of the auctioned sites shall be handed over to the successful bidders within a period of 90 days from the issuance of allotment letter. Early handover of the sites would enable the allottees to start construction at the earliest and subsequently use the site for the purpose it meant, be it residential or commercial.
Details pertaining to the properties including reserve price, nature, location plans, payment and other terms & conditions would be hosted on the auction portal www.puda.e-auctions.in, he added.
For participating in the e-auction, he informed, the intending bidders shall be required to sign up on the auction portal and obtain user ID and password. Bidders shall be required to deposit refundable/adjustable eligibility fee by way of Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card/RTGS/NEFT.
