PSLSA organizes statewide webinar on “Revisiting the concept of Mediation”

Punjab State Legal Services Authority (PSLSA) has organized a Webinar on the topic of “Revisiting the concept of Mediation” under the guidance of Punjab & Haryana High Court Judge and Executive Chairman of PSLA Mr. Justice Rakesh Kumar Jain. All the Secretaries of District Legal Services Authorities as well as Mediators working in various Mediation and Conciliation centres in the state of Punjab have participated in this Webinar.

During the webinar, District & Sessions Judge-cum-Member Secretary, PSLSA Mr. Arun Kumar Gupta has appealed to all participants, Mediators and Secretaries of the District Legal Services Authorities to encourage the masses to settle their disputes through mediation. Additional District & Sessions Judge-cum-Faculty Member, Chandigarh Judicial Academy Dr. Gopal Arora emphasized upon the constructive implementation of the concept of ADR Mechanism throughout the State.

Giving comprehensive overview, Additional District & Sessions Judge-cum-Additional Member Secretary, Punjab State Legal Services Authority Dr. Mandeep Mittal has conveyed that Punjab State Legal Services Authority has framed Punjab State Mediation Rules, 2018 to regulate the work of Mediation in constructive manner throughout the State.
