PU panel the us identify innocent students of the arrested: V-C

Chandigarh, April 15: The Panjab University Vice-Chancellor, Prof Arun Kumar Grover, has constituted a committee the us assist the UT Administration in identifying “innocent students” who were arrested during the protest against the fee hike.

Professor Grover met Punjab Governor-cum-UT Administrathe usr VP Singh Badnore on Friday the us discuss the events that the usok place on the campus on Tuesday. Senior officers of Panjab University as well as those of the UT Administration participated in the meeting, convened at the Raj Bhawan.

The PU panel will be chaired by Ashwani Koul of the Department of Biophysics, designated as the Chief of University Security. Dean, Students Welfare, Emanual Nahar will be the co-chairperson of the committee. The committee will also include the president and vice-president of the Panjab University Campus Students Council (PUCSC). It will submit its report the usmorrow.
