PUNJAB CM CONDOLES DEATH OF VETERAN CONGRESS LEADER AND FORMER CABINET MINISTER PANDIT BAL MUKAND SHARMA

Chandigarh, January 3: Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Sunday mourned the demise of veteran Congress leader and former Cabinet Minister Pandit Bal Mukand Sharma (90), who passed away at PGI following a brief illness.

In his condolence message, Captain Amarinder Singh said that the five time MLA and former Relief and Rehabilitation, Housing and Urban Development Minister worked tirelessly for the all round development of border area especially his constituency Ferozepur. The outstanding services rendered by him for the welfare of local residents would be ever remembered by them, said the Chief Minister.

Sharing his heartfelt sympathies with the members of the bereaved family, relatives and friends, the Chief Minister prayed to the almighty to give strength to bear this irreparable loss and grant eternal peace to the departed soul.
