Chandigarh, December 27, 2017 : Government of India has cleared the name of Dr. S K Raju for appointment as Chief Electoral Officer (CEO ) of Punjab. Punjab Government has got the formal intimation in this regard but the file is with CMO for final approval.
Dr Raju is a 1998 batch IAS officer of Punjab cadre. The post of CEO fell vacant since last month after VK Singh proceeded on central deputation.
